Ever dreamed of making your own cheese at home? 🧀 Join us at Olive + Oak for a fun and informative demo-style workshop where guest teacher Jes will walk you through the basics of home cheesemaking!

In this relaxed, classroom-style class, you’ll:

🧀 Learn what ingredients, tools, and techniques you'll need

🧀 Watch a live demo on how to make queso fresco from scratch

🧀 Sample several homemade cheeses Jes has prepared ahead of time - including mozzarella, burrata, gouda, and cheese curds

🧀 Get your questions answered and go home with printed recipes to try yourself!

Jes is bringing all the cheesy goodness (plus crackers and bread for tasting) - you just need to bring a notebook, a pen, and your appetite!

Cost: $35 per person

Class Size: Limited to 20 students

Duration: Approximately 2 hours

Location: Olive + Oak Creative Studio - Downtown Yuma, AZ

This is a seated, classroom-style event and perfect for those curious about homesteading, kitchen DIY, or anyone who just really loves cheese. 🧀💛

Add on an optional quick craft project! For just $15 (regularly $18), you’ll paint your own "Eat Local" cutting board sign featuring your choice of state. We’ll paint these together at the end of class- no experience needed, just a willingness to have fun and get crafty! 🎨

This add-on is totally optional, but a great way to take home a handmade piece to add to your kitchen or dining room! 🙌
